A very thin and lightweight Santoku, hand-forged by Patrik Carlvik of Smedja Aspen and sharpened by Erik Mases of Shinogi.

The finish features a polished nashiji forged texture and a fine, narrow bevel for great cutting performance. The core steel, 26C3, is Sweden’s high-grade equivalent to Shirogami #2 — known for its sharpness, purity, and ease of maintenance.

This knife is the result of two deeply passionate craftsmen, combining their skill and dedication in every step — from material selection and forging to hardening, sharpening, and polishing — to create a true piece of functional art.

We hope it finds its way into the hands of someone who will appreciate it as much as we have enjoyed creating it.

Please note: Avoid cutting hard materials such as frozen foods, bones, or crusty bread. The steel is hard and thin, which makes it delicate and prone to chipping if used improperly.
